Changelog — October 2026
6 changes shipped in October 2026, newest first.
Solana getBlock regression fixed, upstream selection now latency-aware
From 2026-10-22 to 2026-10-28 a routing fallback sent some recent-block getBlock reads on Solana to a slow node; the fix on 2026-10-28 (strict history routing plus a slow-host guard) took p95 on the affected traffic from 6.3 s to 172 ms over 20-minute windows before and after. On 2026-10-29 every network started preferring the healthy node with the best measured response time, and EU-region p50 over 10-minute windows fell from 158 to 33 ms on Robinhood Chain and from 383 to 38 ms for Solana getSignaturesForAddress. Our own processing adds about 0.3 ms to Solana HTTP requests on the Frankfurt edge; the full before/after table and how we measure it are in the blog post.
Triport Indexer (Beta): real-time Solana launchpad scanner with built-in trading
Triport Indexer is available in beta at https://indexer.triport.io, bringing real-time Solana launchpad scanning and trading from a built-in custodial wallet into Triport. Indexer trades carry a 0% Triport platform fee; protocol or pool fees, Solana network and priority fees, and refundable token-account rent still apply, with a beta limit of 0.1 SOL per trade.
Robinhood block feed now races multiple sources
The Robinhood block feed now races several independent upstreams in parallel and forwards each block from whichever source delivers it first, so you get the earliest available copy without changing how you connect. On our EU edge the racing path delivered the block first on about 99.7% of blocks — a median of roughly 62 ms earlier, up to about 138 ms at the tail — against the standard public feed, which stays connected as a fallback.
More flexible RPC capacity: up to 2× burst throughput
Triport's existing burst support is now shown explicitly across pricing, network pages and documentation, making it easier to plan capacity for short traffic spikes. Finite RPS categories include up to 2× their sustained request rate for short bursts, such as 20 RPS sustained with up to 40 requests in a burst. Bursts are available automatically at no extra charge, with no limit on how often they occur, while Unlimited categories remain unlimited.
Direct endpoint for sending Solana transactions; parallel send paths
New endpoint https://fra.triport.io/sol for sending Solana transactions, served directly by our Frankfurt edge without Cloudflare (same API key and JSON-RPC as https://triport.io/sol, which stays the endpoint for everything else and the fallback for sending). sendTransaction is now submitted in parallel to the Triport RPC path and, when the transaction carries the matching tip, to Helius Sender and the Jito block engine; the first accepted answer is returned, with X-Triport-Send-Winner, X-Triport-Send-Legs and Server-Timing headers. The shred stream (/ws/sol-preexec) now replaces a key's oldest connection instead of refusing a reconnect (close 4029 superseded_by_new_connection).
Solana connection set unified; new gRPC hostname grpc.triport.io
Solana gRPC (Yellowstone) now has its own hostname, https://grpc.triport.io (grpc.triport.io:443 for clients that take host:port). Clients already dialing the main triport.io hostname keep working, but new integrations should use grpc.triport.io. Every Solana page lists the same connection set in one order: HTTPS, WSS, Firehose (wss://triport.io/ws/sol-stream), gRPC (Yellowstone) and the shred stream (wss://triport.io/ws/sol-preexec).
