How is RPC cost calculated?

It depends on how each provider bills. Credit-metered providers charge per call, and heavier methods cost more — for those we weight your method mix into monthly credits and take the cheapest plan that covers them, plus any documented per-credit overage. Triport is a flat monthly subscription metered by throughput: there are no credits and no monthly request cap, so we convert your volume into a sustained request rate and take the cheapest plan whose sustained RPS limit covers it. Finite Triport budgets include a 2× burst buffer for short spikes at no extra cost; it does not double sustained or monthly capacity.

Does a heavier method mix cost more on Triport?

Not by itself. Credit providers price heavy methods at a higher credit weight, so the mix moves the bill. Triport plans are limited by requests per second, so what matters is your rate, not which methods you call — heavy methods do have their own lower RPS budgets per tier.

Does the network change Triport’s price?

Plan prices are the same on every network, but the rate limit a plan includes is set per network (Basic: 60 read requests per second on Solana, 20 on Ethereum). Pick the network in the calculator and the Triport row is sized against that network’s limit.

Each provider is priced on the model it actually publishes: credit-metered vendors by the weighted method mix above, Triport by the sustained request rate the volume implies (100,000,000 requests a month is about 39 requests per second). Every plan is also checked against its own published sendTransaction, getProgramAccounts and DAS rate limits where they exist — in this mix about 12 sendTransaction calls a second, against 10 on Triport Basic. Triport plans carry no credit allowance and no monthly request cap.

Providers are priced on their own model: credit-metered vendors by your method mix weighted with their own published per-method prices, Triport by the sustained requests per second your volume implies — a flat subscription with no credit allowance and no monthly request cap. A plan is only quoted when its published rate limits (total, and where published sendTransaction, DAS and getProgramAccounts) cover your load. A provider that does not price a method in the mix gets no estimate; generic weights are never applied. Monthly list prices, no annual discounts, bandwidth or add-ons. Above our published plans the answer is a conversation, not a bigger tier. The Triport row uses the standard read limit of Solana on each plan; transaction submission and heavy methods have their own limits, listed on the pricing page.
