Why are DAS calls heavier?

They do more work per call than a plain read, and providers charge for that differently. Credit-metered providers give them a higher credit weight, so the same number of requests costs more. Triport plans are flat and metered by throughput, so a DAS call is not billed at a higher rate — DAS is gated by tier instead: keys on the 7-day Free trial cannot call it at all, Basic exposes part of the DAS set, and the full set comes with Pro.
