Endpoint and plans: Robinhood Chain RPC endpoint. Chain check: expected Robinhood Chain value and how to check it.

net_version — return the decimal network identifier. The published signature and response shape come from the measured Robinhood OpenRPC contract (chain ID 4663).

The same identifier as a decimal string, for tooling that expects the older field. It is not a node or infrastructure inventory: the value describes the chain, not which channel answered you or how many are in the pool.

Parameters

JSON-RPC params is a positional array.

——optional
Send an empty positional array.

Response

A measured response from Robinhood Chain mainnet.

Errors

See Robinhood errors. Invalid parameters return a JSON-RPC parameter error; authentication and rate-limit failures use the shared client error contract. Unknown failures are returned without an implicit retry.

Examples

const response = await fetch("https://triport.io/rpc/robinhood", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: { "x-token": process.env.TRIPORT_API_KEY, "Content-Type": "application/json" },
  body: JSON.stringify({"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"net_version","params":[]}),
});
const payload = await response.json();

Notes

  • Returns the same chain identifier as eth_chainId, as a decimal string, for older tooling.
  • It identifies the chain, not the channel that answered; it is not an infrastructure inventory.
